Pasta in tomato sauce, herbs and ginger

Ingredients 

1 packet (400 grams) cooked Farfalle (bow ties) pasta

1/3 cup olive oil

2 chopped medium size onions

4 ripe medium size tomatoes, peeled and cubed

4 cubes Dorot crushed garlic

4 cubes Dorot chopped basil

1 cube Dorot crushed ginger

1 tsp chicken soup powder

A pinch of salt

Ground black pepper to taste

Grated mozzarella or Parmesan cheese (optional)

 

Preparation 

1. Steam onion in hot (but not too hot) olive oil to transparency; add garlic cubes and steam for 2-3 more minutes.

2. Add cut tomatoes and steam for 5 more minutes. Add the basil, ginger, soup powder, salt, and pepper, and steam until sauce thickens.

3. Pour sauce on the pasta and sprinkle grated cheese on top (optional).
