Gnocchi with herbs

(for 6 servings) 

400 gr gnocchi 

 

Ingredients Sauce 

4 cubes Dorot chopped basil 

4 cubes Dorot chopped parsley 

4 cubes Dorot chopped dill 

2 cubes Dorot chopped coriander 

2 cubes Dorot crushed garlic 

1 cup vegetable sauce* 

 

Preparation 

Heat sauce in large pan, add garlic and herbs, and pre-cooked gnocci and cook for 3 more minutes. 

Serve with parmesan cheese. 

 

* Vegetable sauce 

1 onion, coarsely cut 

1 celery, coarsely cut 

1 parsley root, coarsely cut 

1 large carrot, coarsely cut 

 

Preparation

1. Fry all roots with small amount of oil on a large heat. 

2. Add 2 liters water, boil and lower heat. 

3. Add salt and pepper. 

4. Cook for about an hour, or till liquids are reduced to half. 

5. Strain and keep liquids. 

6. Keep in ice mold for convenient use.
