Fish Paella with Cilantro and Saffron |

(Quantities for a large pan - 4 servings) Ingredients: 1 kg mixed fish fillets (Locus, Narrow-barred Spanish mackerel,Mullet Striped Red) 1 cup of round rice 1 onion, peeled and diced 2 cups of water 2 tomatoes, peeled and diced 1 red pepper, diced 8 Dorot Chopped Cilantro cubes 3 Dorot Crushed Garlic cubes Half a gram saffron Salt and pepper Preparation: 1. Cook the fish in a pot with 2 cups of water until boiling point. 2. Fry the onion, tomatoes and red pepper in a large pan with a little oil 3. Add the diced garlic, saffron, rice and stir 4. Add the water in which the fish was boiled, and the chopped cilantro cubes. Mix and season with salt and pepper. 5. Cook on high flame for about 3 minutes 6. Add the rice and the fish filets, cover with lid and lower the heat. 7. Cook on low heat about 15 minutes and serve. Back to 'Recipes' |
